Made with kerosene, it will remove ink from delicate fabrics, pine rosin without scrubbing & cut through grease or grim. The solvent is made into the soap so the smell dissipates quickly & you don't have to use your kerosene or gas, just lather up. Comes boxed too.
This bar is listed in my Beauty Care Page due to kerosene soap is said to shrink the pores and tighten the skin; many woman use it to cleanse their face for these reasons.
I am the only soap maker that makes this particular soap bar. My personal testimony: I got ink on a chiffon dress that I made for my daughter. It was her favorite, she wore it all the time. I simply struck a stream of water with this bar and rubbed it directly on the fabric. Viola', the ink just disappeared, it left no oily residue and I cleaned the dress at home in the dry clean dryer kit. Additionally, every year I do a fall arrangement using pine cones, this soap takes the pine rosin off in a single lather up and rinse.
